Actually, there are 5 armors-pants.boots,gloves,armor(chest) and helmet in 2moons.They improve your defence. The armor and the helmet can be socket and other parts don’t. You should start full slot your armor and helmet from level 30+,put 18/21 medials(easy to get from Akris) in the slots until level 90/100-then start put 25 medials,for level 115 and 130 set 29 or 33 will go(but 25 good too).
Then you upgrade your Armors to +4 the pants.boots and gloves get different bonuses:
Pants +4-3% all magic resistance.
Boots +4-3% guard rate.
Gloves +4-3% critical rate.
As the upgrade(+) higher the bonuses become higher-for +9 they stands on 10%2moons dil.
Armor and helmet don’t have any bonus beside the base defence that become higher.

As you level upto higher levels , you can use a new Twin Blade . It is better for you to get one with slots and/or magic/noble if you can because more damage and good stats always helps, but if not at least try for a 3 Slot TB so you can add some gems in it for more damage.Based on the Build , you will get a Level 12 ( 2moons dil) Staff around Level 36 (1 more Spr required than current Level 36 TBs). Around this level you can get one because with Aldebaran and the Level 34 Dungeon, if you ever need to run and kite mobs to pot, the staff skills and Aldebaran combination for stun makes it a lot easier. By Level 54 make sure to get a Level 18 Staff because you want to do more Damage for Summon Ghost (and needs +2 more Spr than Level 54 TBs). As you Slowly Level Up and get New Twin Blades the Spr requirements increase and if it gets close enough to the next low Level Staff you can use then switch to a higher low Level Staff.

You can use argates at the blacksmith onto your weapon/armor, thus permanently increasing the stats onto the item if successful. Copper Argates are for +1-3, Silver Argates are for +4-6, and Gold Argates +7-9. The higher the +, the lower the chance for success, and the higher the price to initiate the process . 
Tip: Most people would agree that you should save your argates or sell them for dekaron dil, and should not use them until you are at least using the level 90 gear and level 95 weapons, some people say even later than that.2. You can also make slots in the weapon/armor, and when it is fully slotted you can stick your gems (Attack Spheres, Attack Crystals, Rhombuses, etc) into it to make it glow orange/blue/green/red/etc . To raise the chance of making a slot at the alchemist, you can use what people call "crap" gems, which are basically useless gems that the player does not need and will not sell. A maximun of 5 gems can be inputted to raise the slotting % of success. The higher the level ( dekaron dil) of the item, the less chance it has to succeed in making a slot, same principle applies if the item is magic/noble/divine noble.
