Scams related to auto body repair are nothing new. They keep happening with one car owner or the other. You can stay away from them only if you are careful about certain things. Often people approach auto repair shops for small repairs which would cost few dollars and end up spend hundreds of dollars on repairs suggested by the mechanic, which they are not even sure was required in the first place.
